I’m Ariane, a.k.a Ari, Fanny Anne and Moo (don’t ask)…..
I’m a 30 year old writer and blogger, based in London. I love techno, contemporary dance, fashion zines, indie films and anything else that makes me sound cool and interesting (I really do like these things though). I have a thing for brackets (in case you hadn’t noticed). I HATE pigeons. I’m shit scared of them in fact.
I grew up in the wilds of Somerset, before moving to the big smoke at the tender age of 18. Ten years later, at 28, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma, a rare type of blood cancer.
It was a bit of a head fuck, to say the least.
In a mad bid to make sense of what was happening to me I started writing a blog, which was subsequently published on Refinery 29. I’ve since started writing more regularly for leading publications including The Pool & Gurls Talk and I’m currently in the process of writing a book about my experience.
